Medicontur at the ESCRS Congress 2023
Our company exhibited in Vienna, Austria from the 8-11 of September 2023.
The Congress was an important milestone for our company as we launched a new IOL within the ELON product family, the ELON Toric IOL which is available between the cylindric powers of 1.0 and 6.0 D to provide simultaneous presbyopia- and astigmatism correction. The first ELON Toric implantation was carried out by Prof. Sathish Srinivasan at the Ayrshire Eye Clinic in Scotland, UK just before the ESCRS Congress.
We organized a scientific symposium with a record numbers of participants on the 9th of September titled State of the art IOL-based solutions in cataract and refractive surgery, where the key opinion leaders covered the following topics:

During the 4 days of the Congress we organized 6 booth talks to provide a better understanding about our premium IOLs for the professionals.
It was a pleasure to meet with the ophthalmologists and our network in person and we look forward to meet again next year in Barcelona, at the 42nd ESCRS Congress in September!
